Really beautiful rug that's soft on the feet. It does not have a stiff backing so it can bunch a little if there's no nonslip pad underneath. I just got it and have not seen the shedding others talked about, but it is interesting in that from the long side, you can clearly see cream and tan stripes, but from the short side, it looks the same.. It’s ok. I get compliments on it, but like others have said the colors are muted and different in person than the picture. I notice now when rug pictures on Wayfair have overly saturated green or wood colors in the background, they photoshopped the colors on this one too. Also, the wool yarn is really thick, which maybe means it’s less durable because there’s less stitching. Compared to an antique Persian rug I have, it’s clearly less well made. But, it seems fine.
