The entire table bows and bends in the center. The bench broke the very first time we used it when a guest sat on it. I recommend avoiding this product. We opted to set up the table at normal table height, but it comes with extra risers if you’d prefer to set it up at counter height. The table also includes a leaf to extend the table so it is a square - instead of rectangular. Loved the white glove delivery service. They set it up as a square and then took the leaf out.
