This TV console seems sturdy, has good storage, and is the perfect size. Yes, it is a laminate over particle board, but the finish looks nice. I think it’s a good value for the price. It does take a little while to assemble, but it wasn’t bad. My advice to anyone else is to make sure you put a level on it and use your leg adjusters to get it perfectly level before you put the back on to make sure you build it square. That may be why I saw some reviewers saying they couldn’t get the doors quite right. I will say the handles that came with the unit were not a good color. They were practically orange, not champagne bronze-ish like I thought from the photos on the website. I need a slim profile dresser for my guest room. After considering options for over a year, I went ahead with this product, knowing that it has fabric drawers and is somewhat smaller than a standard dresser. I was able to fit all of my clothes with some new sorting decisions. Assembly was not bad, but I did have a few things backwards to adjust at the end. One plastic rail was broken but fortunately there were extra parts for all the small stuff. One disappointment's was the top cover is in 2 pieces with a center seam/gap. I covered that with decorative placemats. Another surprise was when I need to plug it in, the cord sticks out too far to properly anchor the unit to the wall. It’s very very heavy. Be forewarned. The assembly isn’t too challenging but takes time. I did it entirely by myself. The disappointment come from the shallow draws. Even though it measures nearly 16”, they don’t open more than half way, so you need to removed them completely if you want to gain access to the rear of the drawer. Mine has a chip blemish on the top of it, which is a bummer but is otherwise fine. It looks good and is two separate pieces which can be handy if you don’t have a really large wall.. Jason.
