The cord that it hangs from can be adjusted to a very long length or about a foot from the ceiling. I love how the gold toned pendant almost glimmers when it is lit. It definitely adds a warm glow in our dining nook and looks perfect. Overall, I would definitely recommend this pendant lamp!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is super cute and easy to install. Installation takes about 15-20 minutes to remove old fixture and install new. I am only uncertain of the color as if you are on a gold theme this is not gold, I consider it more of a mix of gold and bronze. It doesn't have a clean gold shine, instead it has a battered and worn effect. It is still cute but not gold so if that is the look you are trying to achieve this is not for you.
