[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a beautiful pendant light with clear shades. The design itself is modern with a rustic copper finish which gives an antique look as well. The description mentioned it's adjustable but for my high ceiling, it was not enough for me to use it in the desired place. Other than the length, it was pre-easy to install on the lower ceiling. Also, it provides multi-direction light for brightness through clear shades.

That being said, the “Harper 40 Watt 1 Light Copper and Clear Shaded Pendant Light with Clear Glass & Metal Shade” from River of Goods is beautiful. I’m so happy with this fixture. I had this hideous bronze heavy hanging light that everyone (including my short 5’3” self) would bang their head against. Even when the table was centered underneath you couldn’t place a plate on the table without this thing knocking a dent into your skull. Not to mention the light it gave off was so dim due to the shaded glass panels that it created such a dark mood in the already ugly burgundy red that is my dining room. It was an aesthetic only Dracula could appreciate. Anyway, I was so happy when I was selected to receive this pendant light from River of Goods because now I could get rid of my dining room eyesore. The fixture itself was not difficult to install. Only thing that was unclear was anchoring the excess cable. I didn’t want to cut too much from it in case I ever moved the light and needed more slack so I tucked what I could in and used the plastic tab that held the cable anchored it with a washer and screw into the light bracket. I also have knob and tube wiring so that was a doozy but nothing I couldn’t bypass. This light now creates a brighter ambient light and is far more appealing and classic looking than it’s predecessor. Now I’m going to see if I can find matching sconces. ☺️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me just start off by saying I really like this pendant light, the design of it will go with my kitchen/dining area, it's made very well and will last. The reason I'm only giving this 3 stars is because in the description it says it's adjustable but it is not adjustable or at least I haven't figured out how, there were no instructions in the box at all thankfully I know how to install a light, I haven't been able to install it yet because the lamp is too long and without being able to adjust the height it will be a safety issue because I have a special needs toddler who will try pulling it down or swinging it
