Lovely fixture looks similar to a high end designer fixture. Just be aware that a black shade means the light doesn't distribute very far. We knew that going in and it was fine.

Ideal design feature for our kitchen island.

This light exceeded my expectations. There are so many cone shaped lights out there right now that are much more pricey. This one is beautiful and looks expensive. In the pictures it shows black chain, but mine came with antique brass chain. The chain and wire for hanging is not very long, so if hanging from a higher the 8 ft ceiling, this may not work. I had my electrician re-wire mine because I loved it so much.
