We used to have table lamps on two nightstands. I switched them out for these hardwired sconces. They freed up space on the nightstands for my books and plants. And the sconces look so nice on the walls. The light they give is good enough to read with. They were easy to install.

Smaller than I anticipated with the king sized bed, cords don't hang straight. No real instructions but relatively easy to install.
