This light fixture comes with two options for hanging. We chose to mount closer to the ceiling with only the bar. The light was packaged very poorly and could have been damaged during transit. We got lucky. The instructions are minimal.

It is a beautiful chandelier. The lighter color looks like it is in the tan family which looks very nice with the black. The length was perfect with my long farm table.
