Simple and easy..and looks good

It works as a light, but (1) There are 2 extra wires on the fixture with no indication as to what they are for. In addition to the Black, White, and Ground wire, there's a gray wire and a purple wire. There's no explanation in the directions. I even went to the manufacturer's web site and there was nothing helpful there either. (2) While the light is listed as dimmable, it only dims to about 50-60% using a modern Leviton DZ6HD dimmer switch.

Works for the place I bought it for. Wish it were a little more slim line and compact. Also it's listed as 277V but it's line voltage.

This light is very, very bright for our small front porch. Also, it is not sitting very flat and flush up against the ceiling. It is not returnable, so we will end up buying a dimmer switch. My husband hates it, but after spending 74 and since it’s not returnable, I will live with him complaining about it.

This is a great outdoor light, third one I've purchased. Small, blends into our soffits and gives great light.
