I thought it seemed risky to order lampshades online, but I figured, "if they sell them, they must know how to ship them." THEY DO NOT. Not even an attempt to package these things; a boxed BLANKET could have crushed them! I should have followed my first instinct, but I didn't want to wait another year to try to find the right size in a store.

Believe me I searched all the box office stores for lamp shades for my lamps. I didn’t just want your typical thing after several trips to the local chains then I say what am I thinking WAYFAIR shopping here I come and sure enough there it was. Still a little nervous I placed my order. And very happy I did!

I hesitate to give five stars to something so simple as a drum lamp shade, but it was not easy to find one with clean, simple lines that rests on a reflector bowl in a floor (or table) lamp. The fabric lets out slightly less light than our old one (in which the lining finally cracked and started falling apart), but it works for us.
