The style of this lamp was exactly what I was looking for and the black lamp shade is a rich thick fabric that doesn’t allow a strange tone to shine through when the lamp is on, which was a big concern for me. So no blue or purple tones to ruin the look. I was a bit concerned when putting it together as the connection where the bulb base connects to the harp and to the top of the lamp itself was very wobbly and crooked. I unscrewed the entire area and it all tightened up perfectly. This may just be an issue with my lamp and not an overall issue but you should be aware before purchasing. Again, it was an easy fix if needed. Very happy overall!
