I love these way more than I had hoped. The gold inside gives the light a wonderful glow.

I like the shades very much, but one of them came in with spots on. See photo

The shades I received are not silk or fabric. They are cardboard/paper.

Lovely shades! Quality is wonderful and they arrived well boxed, in protective covering and perfect condition. They are sleek and the interior is a beautiful golden foil. The seams can hardly be detected. They have a double gold colored clip on attachment that gives them support and I'm happy that they sit straight on my candelabra bulbs. These are larger/longer which was important to me and hard to find -- can't stand having a light bulb starring me in the face. These do cut down on brightness and create a softer, golden glow which could be an issue if you want bright light. I find them to be absolutely perfect!
