Two issues specifically for me. 1) The weight of the light fixture and lamp shade is heavy enough that it makes it top heavy and pulls the curvy part forward. 2) The lamp shade is too big. It sits awkwardly close to the surface of my dresser. I thought I'd buy a smaller lampshade, but it's virtually impossible to find one as it's an uno threaded shade with 1.5" opening that fits the light fixture. Most lamp shades are not uno threaded. And if you do find one, the opening is usually too small. I had to snip the wires and rework it into my new lampshade after snipping that one also. If you don't mind your lamp shade sitting 9" off your furniture no matter how high you raise the bar, then it might not be so bad. But the lamp shade is still too big. Otherwise, it's a simple and nice enough lamp. I'd definitely buy it again if it came with a smaller shade.

Very well made and a really substantial size for the bedroom. Works great next to the bed.

Nice lamp but the word "adjustable" is a bit miss leading...impossible for my 85 year old father to adjust as needed. You can adjust height must get up and turn screws etc.

Good quality. Shade came soiled but they sent a new shade immediately. Very satisfied.
