Perfect replacement on my Frederic cooper lamp! Pricey but worth it

Perfect match for what we had that were damaged - except these were better quality!!

I bought this in two sizes for two different lamps. The Eggshell is a pale cream color which is what I wanted. Elegant shape was exactly the same as an old shade I was attempting to replace so the picture is true to reality. Pleats and inside fabric are well done, evenly attached, and sturdy. If you are looking for a thin silk, this fabric is more substantial. The lampshade I was replacing had thin fragile real silk fabric that actually looked and felt like silk on the outer pleats and let more light through. When this arrived I thought maybe Wayfair had sent the wrong item because it didn't feel like silk. I called the manufacturer to ask if it was actually silk because it was different than my older silk lampshade. The manufacturer said it is a silk and polyester blend. The feel/weight is more of the polyester but still very nice and will probably hold up better over time with the inclusion of the polyester. I do think it would be helpful for shoppers if Wayfair didn't call it "Silk" or made the blend clear in the description. I would definitely buy this brand of lampshade again.
