Overall, the lamp is great! Love the look, the shade style is very cool, and the construction is very solid. The only drawback is the lightbulb socket has a metal ring around it that makes it difficult to turn the light switch as it covers it. I actually added a "touch pad" that works great and provides 3 levels of light with a touch and eliminating the need to reach under the shade to turn the light on/off.
