Lamp shade too short unless you are putting this lamp on top of a very tall table. If you put this lamp on the side of your couch the shade is short and you are staring at the light bulb when walking into the room blinding your eyes

Perfect for the console that holds a record player. Big Mid Century or Modern vibes - depending on your furniture. Bought two and the best compliment I can give is that the lamps look like they were always there. Well worth the sale price.
