The lamp looks better in person and the colors mesh well with my color scheme I have un my living room. The shade is a nice size too. The lamp does not look cheap at all. My husband evwn complimented on the lamp and he never notices anything. Lol You will be happy with your purchase. Oh and it comes with a light bulb too! Most almost do not. A++++
