Received the rest of the lights electrician will be here at the end of the week. Can’t wait to get installed exactly the look I was going for very sleek.

I really like the black led indooroutdoor light. It is substantial in size and with the ability to rotate the light to a particular location, a wonderful addition to a dark stairwell that I’m using it for. The bright led light is awesome!

I got this for the inside of my chicken coop. I like that I am able to change the direction of the light by just tilting it with no tools. Install was easy. The light looks nice and works great, very happy!

This light fixture is exactly what I was hoping for. I will be installing it flush to a balcony ceiling and pointing it towards the exterior door. The light pivots to change angles and increase options for installation preferences. It is a good weight with clean lines perfect for updating every style home.

I tend to give somewhat long reviews, so I'll give the TL;DR upfront. Overall the light is what you would expect, it adjusts as advertised, it's sturdy, and it's easy to install. I rate this 3/5 stars, or average for the price point. It's worth the cost, but don't expect a well thought-out design and you won't be disappointed. Now the longer version! A bit of a disclaimer, I installed this in my attic, not in the "traditional" in front/back of the house. I wanted a light for the space to replace the old one due to the poor placement of the originally installed light and this was a good size, I liked that I could adjust the angle of the light, and I wanted something fairly contained. While I could've used something for a "moist" environment, I prefered the outdoor rating just to be safe. The good: It comes fairly well packed, so there's minimal risk of cosmetic damage unless someone is trying very hard to ruin your order. The installation is as easy as you would expect, there are four set screws; two on top, two on bottom to attach the light to the mount. The mount can be screwed on or nailed in place. They provide all the hardware including the wire nuts, plus a few extra parts like an extra set screw in case you back it out so far it falls off or you strip one. It's details like this I really appreciate, so frankly it's sad I had to rate it average for the other reasons below. The meh: The mount is directional! Keep this in mind as you are installing, there is an "up" to the mount, so when you install it make sure it's the way you want it or you will need to flip it later and that can be annoying. There is no real reason for the mount to be directional, it was a (poor) design choice. The ends of the wire are not tinned, meaning they are just strands of wire, this isn't a huge issue and if you want to tin them it's not hard if you own a soldering iron, but it would've been nice to get these details from the start. While it is expected with this style (LED) light, you cannot easily change the light itself. So if the light were to die then you're going to need to replace the whole thing, which is a whole other annoyance of mine. Additionally, the light is run of the mill bright. Don't expect a spotlight or something dim, if you like comparing to traditional lights, expect ~60w brightness and a warmer color. This is only in the "meh" category because it's nothing special, but certainly not a negative. Adjusting the angle is a simple pull/push on the light. There's nothing holding it in place, but the interference fit of the hinge does hold it firmly once you place it where you want it. Again, not a bad thing, but certainly nothing to celebrate. The bad: When I received the light the ballast (the thing that converts the power to something the LED can use) has fallen off. It's attached by what appears to be some caulk or other white adhesive at one end and a simple ~2 inch strip of double sided tape. Neither of these adhesives was enough to keep it attached to the frame of the light so it was free to bounce around during shipment and made it difficult to hang. This could have been resolved if it were actually screw mounted, or permanently attached, although I would have been annoyed if they had made that design choice. In any case, it's something to keep in mind, while the ballast seems heavy duty enough and the light did function as expected after installing, it is frustrating to receive something that isn't well designed. In general you won't be disappointed with the light. The cons balance out the positives and while I say this is an average light, it will fit the bill if you want something that is... well average. The photos show the size (dry erase marker shown for scale) of the light out of the box. The second photo shows the internals of the light including the ballast that is just sitting there not attached to anything, and finally the installed location in my attic. Taking a photo with the light on proved to be a challenge given the small space, so it's unfortunately not included.
