This lamp matches the photo and looks nice in our room. The quality is questionable. The lamp arrived with a dented base (it's going behind our couch so it's not worth returning over the dent) and came packaged in cheap styrofoam which clearly didn't protect it during shipping. Assembly was fine, no issues. The lamp cord is a thin cord with a large power supply (think old school RC car charger) which seems ridiculous for an expensive lamp, the adapter should be built into the lamp with a normal power cord for aesthetic purposes. The switch for controlling the light is a touch style and is difficult to adjust properly, by no means a smooth operation and without practicing and knowing the lamp guests will not be able to use that feature easily (again, completely unacceptable for a lamp over $200). The lights do appear to be some sort of LED however unlike the rest of LEDs in my home, they get hot to the touch similar to a traditional bulb. This lamp is decently bright and this could be why the bulbs get hotter than other LEDs. Overall, I would not recommend and would not buy again at this price point (if I bought this at a bargain store for $70 I would say this would be the expectations of the product and probably be satisfied with it). This purchase has me rethinking Wayfair as an option for supplying any future expensive home items.
