Charlotte Solid Wood Lamp

Nice looking lamps but the base bulbs burned out within months of purchase, and there are no instructions or info on how to replace them. It looks like you have to disassemble the entire lamp to access the base bulb.

It is beautiful

Lamps look essentially as described and shown in catalog. Staining was a bit uneven and assembly not entirely square on base as shown in first photo. The description appeared to indicate that the package should include a bulb for the center column light, but none was included. The space for this bulb is quite narrow, requiring careful selection at the store. The lamp has three switches. Two pull chains control the two lightbulbs under the shade, so they can be turned on or off independently . There is a master switch on the cord of the lamp that controls all three lights. There does not appear to be any separate switch for the light in the center column. Thus, the center light must always be on if you want any of the lights to be on. All three lights can be shut off with the master cord switch. I would have preferred a design with a switch for each light.

This lamp is stunning. It is well made and easy to assemble. It was packaged perfectly to avoid damage. It is just the right colors and size for my master bedroom makeover. I definitely recommend it.
