This was exactly what we needed for a family cabin room! It goes great with the older cabin decor, adds a great bit of airflow, and offers quite a lot of light. I love that it works well on a dimmer, too, and that the remote is easy to work. Do you note that I could not figure out if there was or was not a dimming option for the lights on the remote (do not believe there is), but because we have that switch on a dimmer, we can dim the bulbs. That is important to me because the LED bulbs would be too bright if not dimmable. The fan is wonderful and works incredibly well, with many options for various speeds and a button to push if you want the fan to be completely quiet. The fan works in both directions to push air or pull air upward. The lights and fan work independently, so you are not required to have both on to use one or the other. The wood material is nice and looks great. I love the slats in the shade that offer some visual interest. Note that the fan material is plastic rather than wood, but it looks realistic. I am super happy with it!

What a delightful surprise this fan is. I needed something that didnt need a switch for my older home and chose this flush mount ceiling fan with a remote for on off and fan functions. The fan is made of wood and has a great funky boho look, it would also be a great addition to a mid century look or even arts and crafts style home. Very good quality for the price. The fan blades are hard plastic and easily cleaned. The lamp and hardwear are matte black. The bulbs it needs are medium base and candle flame shape bulbs.I love it its gonna look amazing with my mission oak furniture. It shipped quickly too.

I think this is a very stylish design for use in a smaller room, and if you want a more masculine look that isn't too modern. The appearance is consistent with posted images (including the E26 light socket), and I think this is a cool low-profile design for the price. All features work as expected, and the remote seems to control the fan and lights well. I also like that when the wall switch is turned on, the lights come on without needing to use the remote (but the fan does not, which also is preferable). I would say that both style and functionality would get solid 5-star ratings for this item. Unfortunately for me, the fan was delivered with mold on it. It seems to be only on the wood, and I was able to clean some of the areas but there is mold on the inside of the cut-outs around perimeter of the enclosure. The fan is fully installed and this will take me a long time to address, so I am removing one star as a result. Note there is an error in the description: the light bulb sockets are E26 and NOT the E12 base that is specified. Also, there is a sticker on one socket that indicates 25W maximum, and I'm hoping that I can run 60W incandescent bulbs to have ample light in the room (TBD).
