Love how this looks in person! I mean, the photos were great but, even so, one can wonder if these are curated or legit photos and reviews, right?! There are a couple of similar models on the site, but this is the only one I saw that had 3 connecting rods instead of some sort of chain links. The glass is actual stained glass. I went with some semi-decorative warm white LED bulbs since you can see the interior when walking down our stairs - just something to think about. The round glass beads really light up when you turn it on and the warm glow from the stained glass just comliments the whole fixture. Truth be told, I ordered this item without consulting with the wife (too many "not right" shopping trips for me). She was initially grumpy while I was installing it and now shows it off and beams when someone notices it. I ain't gonna lie - it was a PITA to hang up for me. My foyer ceiling is about 11 ft up so I was on a ladder, holding the fixture, asking "how high?", and praying I wouldn't drop it as "we" decided how many links were right. Just prepare yourself to juggle the lamp, electrical cord routing through the bracket, and electrical connections. Plan ahead, that's my point here. I recommend using something high enough that you can place the concave styrofoam under your shade while you work your connection magic. Me? I made a contraption for the redneck storybooks and lived to tell the tale!
