Sadly, I was disappointed with this fan. I expected better quality. The fan blades are a hard plastic and so is the light globe and all the components. I was going to install this in my guest room as it matched nicely. However, I will not be installing it. A positive is that it was packaged nicely.

This 44” five Blade Tropical Ceiling Fan with Lights and Remote Control arrived quickly and was securely packaged. The fan was pretty easy to assemble and install. We used this fan to replace a small 20” ceiling fan on our covered back porch. The remote is easy to operate the fan, and even on a low setting, the fan gives a nice breeze. The fan comes with two drop down rods, a 5” rod and a 10” rod. We used the 10” rod. We have the light set to the cool light (6000K), but it can be set to warm light (3000K) or a neutral light (4500K). The fan blades are plastic, as well as the light dome is plastic, so it should be easy to clean and the blades hopefully won’t warp. Overall I am very pleased with this fan and would buy again.

Overall I think the fan is good. It’s easy enough to put together and install. I bought this for a plant/forest themed bedroom and the brown leaf shape looks great there. There are a few downsides. 1) it’s a very very bright blue/white light and there’s no way to change the hue or dim the light 2) when I turn on the switch there’s a beep before the light goes on which is a little annoying. 3) despite the installation being very secure, the fan wobbles at bit at the highest fan speeds. I’m never going to have it up that high so it’s fine for me, but it’s something to keep in mind.
