Really short, came with the wire too long at the lamp shade/bulb end. It was very challenging to thread it back so it hung properly. Messaged customer service and the retailer about a defect but never got a response.

This lamp is beautiful and elegant and was exactly what we were searching for. We love the combination of the blank and tan and the lamp shade is beautiful. It was easy to put together and has a nice heavy base to it. We are very happy with this lamp.
