Its pretty but there is NO IN-LINE ROCKER SWITCH. I had to purchase an extension that had a switch in it. And my globe shattered as soon as I hung it up. Trying to get a new one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Salvador 1 light rattan outdoor is cute and works amazing outside. The light is just what we needed to finish them outdoors. We can now go out to eat using this wonderful light over the outdoor table. I love love love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overly pleased with the quality of the rattan shade and frosted globe, the heavy duty thick cord, and sturdiness of the long pretty swag chain- but Novogratz forgot about one thing that is pretty important to me...a toggle switch! No way to turn on and off without messing around plugging it in and unplugging when you're done(IF you remember before going back into the house ughhh!) After a few days of forgetting to unplug and having to go back outside I just hardwired it into an existing junction box that previously had a sconce light that we removed and capped off. Now I can flip the switch and be super excited about my gorgeous new light :) She's been installed and enjoyed for a few weeks and haven't had any issues with flickering or unintentional outage, lightbulb is still secure with it's screw on collar, and the hooks are holding the chain just as installed. If you want a plug in light that can be turned on and off with a switch this isn't it, BUT it's well worth the small effort of easily hardwiring and using a wall switch instead.
