I love the simplicity of this outdoor lantern. However, one of the pegs/legs arrived broken away from the base to which it is attached. I was able to glue it back on with superglue, and fingers crossed that it will hold. The breakage of these small legs is a common problem in shipping. with this item. The top and bottom portions of the lantern should be packed separately and padded securely in the box, in an effort to minimize the stress of shipping from overseas.

Poorly constructed. Pieces are glued askew and the piece will not bear close examination.

Beautiful ornament. I can see the possibility of the little separator pillars possibly getting knocked off if they were bumped but fortunately mine arrived fully intact. I think maybe the shipping packaging has improved since some of the earlier reviews because I saw some people saying that it should have been packed tightly in foam, but that's exactly how it was packed for me.

A bit larger than expected but love the concept. Just trying to figure out how to light it within rather than with a tea candle in the top. There seems to be a place down in the middle of the lantern which is 2-part, to add a light...perhaps a waterproof battery candle of high quality. My husband hard wired the lantern with small light on the interior. This lantern is out in the elements and there is no tea candle small enough to fit in the top that is weatherproof.
