I love this lamp. It's a perfect size for a nightstand. I used a low wattage soft white bulb because I wanted it to add to the ambiance in the room instead of using it as a reading light. When the light is off the red flowers look very dark. The orange flowers are lighter and give a softer look to the room when the light is turned off. Both the red and orange flowers are beautiful when the light is turned on.
