Love this lamp. The brightness is adjustable by turning on either the base alone or the shade portion as well. So pretty.

I love this lamp. The base lights up and the two pull chains light the bulbs in the lamp. They don't mention this but the only way to turn the lamp itself on is via a switch in the electric cord. I attached the cord to my metal headboard so I can easily turn the lamp on now in the middle of the night if needed. It is very heavy and beautiful.
