I love the color, but unfortunately it does not fit my lamp. I bought the wrong one. My fault.

This thing! Well. This is a waste of a bunch of time and money. (My son asked what it was.) I don’t know if it was meant to have a washer or anything but I could’ve worked that out. Could not unsquash the lovely bronze-like “shade.” I was able to get a dent out of the side, kinda. Unfortunately the finish is crackling apart and off where it was so squished as to be unrecognizable. So even if I could think of something strong enough to reshape it, it’s a total loss. Pros: Strong material! Led is to making lampshades out of bronze aluminum foil that’s meant to be used in the kitchen and is flame retardant, so like paper lamps but golden aluminum. And we’ll vFun Family Activity! Cons: MIT can’t even be recycled. And I just can’t bear another three hours on hold and the suggestion I pay more money to send it back?!? Moral of the story: Ok. No value judgments really, but first and last time THIS mama spends the grocery money on Eayfair (they didn’t honor the cash back shooing code either, so even more expensive than I realized.

I thought the black shades had yellow metal inside, but they are fully black. This actually turned to advantage as they reflect any color light bulb you put inside. They seem to work well with the wooden base and black power cords I had. The opening on the top is about 2 inches (it was not in the product detail)

This really is a great item. Perfect for "fill light" moody lighting that matches a good stainless steel set up.

I returned it. The rubbed bronze finish was not as described. It looked like it had been dunked in a bucket of brown paint.

I use the to house a grow light. It’s got a nice stylish look to it.

No more glaring light near eye level. Perfect down lighting for the kitchen island.

We use these shades as a replacement for the kitschy frosted glass shades that came with our ceiling fan. The lights aren’t as bright given the opacity of these versus the transparency of the frosted glass however they direct the light beautifully and give a very nice ambience. Did require extra washers to fit correctly.
