The description says that the blades are wood. I bought this as I did NOT want plastic blades. Very misleading information within the product description.

Wow! Very surprised and blown away (pun intended) by this fan. The installation is super easy, just takes a while, but if you know what you’re doing it’s doable, and it works great in my garage. It’s sleek and and runs very quiet and feels upscale without being flashy. The integrated LED light is bright without being harsh, which was something I was afraid of, so bonus points there. It’s solid and well balanced and the the remote makes lowering the speed and turning on/off the light a breeze. Overall very happy with my new stylish fan.

Overall, I’m very happy with my new ceiling fan. The remote is easy to use, the light wasn’t too hard to install, and the fan works well. I would say the quality is a solid “B”. I just wish the finishes were a bit nicer. It does weigh a lot, but that is to be expected because the fan is very large
