I was very nervous ordering this light. It is pretty big. However it definitely makes a statement in our bathroom and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It is definitely super nice. I have had several compliments. The texture of the shade is a very nice linen with very soft with tiny cross marks in it. It comes with a piece of glass that fits at the bottom of the shade but we didn't use that.
