Looks great but doesn’t fit well to ceiling.

We bouth this item so it matches the color of other ceiling fixtures in the house. Although as Linda mentioned that the two ends are not equal in height, but this is the way it has been built and there is not fault in design. However I agree that cables should not be in gray color, it won't match the black color of the fixture.

We finally chose this light after viewing hundreds, because we wanted a warm incandescent light in a modern fixture. The lighting is perfect. The fixture is not. As you can see in the pictures, the black loops are not of equal size and position. See the variation in how low the loops drop relative to the level painting on the wall. Also, the bulb base is not at the lowest point of the loop, it is somewhat to the left of it. Finally, the electrical wire is a noticeable black. We painted it gray to match the support wires and make it less visible. Overall these manufacturing deviations are not terribly noticeable at a glance, so we kept the fixture for lack of better alternatives, plus the sunk cost of installation.
