I purchased this as a hall sconce, specifically for its fluted clear shade, which casts interesting light patterns in the otherwise dark hallway. I paired it with the Renee 1 semi-flush down the hall, again with a fluted claw glass shade, and the effect of the two fixtures is very nice.
