Does not rotate well, limited range of motion. Should have paid more to get something better suited to my sewing.

This lamp is wonderful. Very well made. I have glaucoma and have problems with close vision and light hunger, and this works beautifully for the close work I dont want to give up. Base with wheels is handy, and heavy, but means it will be very stable. Card included lets you extend warranty to 5 years. Happy with this purchase .

I watched a video done by a lady who has this product and it was exactly as she described....it performs wonderfully! It is stable. It magnifies well. The light capability to dim or make brighter is very helpful. Having the controls to adjust the light on the light itself is very convenient. Overall, this is a fantastic product! Worth every dollar because of the eyestrain and convenience.!

I love this lamp. It rolls as easily on carpet as it does on tile. It adjusts to my height (short) and viewing area, which is often somewhat contorted depending upon what I am sewing. The magnifier is a great help to my reading glasses. I no longer worry about threading a needle or fine stitching.

I asked for the lamp to replace another magnifier that was starting to have some issues - BEST gift. Base is heavy as mentioned but keeps everything sturdy but, best of all it's bright. I thought my other lamp was doing a good job of illuminating my stitching, but I was so wrong. This is going to make stitching on 40- and above count linen a breeze.

My 95 year old mother's original magnifying lamp (not your brand) switch went out and she was so unhappy about it. She's now in love with this one. The lens is bigger, the magnification power is stronger (and the base is more stable). I was amazed at how little time it took from placing the order to turning on the light. I love this light so much I own two! The wheels make moving it around a snap. The neck and light angle are fully adjustable so I have light right where I need it, without glare in my eyes, no matter where I’m working. I love being able to customize between several levels of warm or cool light and to flip open the top to get a closer look when I need it. Highly recommended!
