Lampe sur pied Smartt

I was dreading opening this after I saw the small-medium box it came in. The tall wood portion came in three sections. Each section screwed into the other, the line where they connect is not visible. The base is nice and heavy, when you screw the base on, it all looks like one seamless piece. This is a matte finish, very handsome. Not a shiny polyurethane look. Nice matching finial, the shade is attractive. Again, I was pleasantly surprised with the appearance of the shade for the price point. So simple to put together and quickly done. I would caution that this is not walnut, this is indeed a medium, reddish chestnut color. Very pleased with the purchase.
