I picked this pair of lamps because I wanted a usb charging lamp in two rooms, and these are perfect for “customization”. As a basic lamp, they were super easy to put together. The lampshade comes as a rolled up sheet that snaps onto the frame, making it super easy to customize the shade with paint, fabric or paper of your choice. The instructions were clearly written and it took less than five minutes to set them up out of the box. Definitely recommend as they will fit in a variety of decor styles as they come, and the ability to do your own diy with them makes them really versatile!!

These lamps are sturdy and are well made. They are a good weight, very stable and balanced. They arrived quickly, within four days, and were extremely well packed. They arrived in components in what seemed like a box too small to hold everything, but it did. They are easy to assemble, the assembly is intuitive. The shades are a linen look and substantial. They wind around the wire frame, hold with velcro and snaps and look classy. They were a present for our daughters guest room, but when she saw them she appropriated them for her own bedroom. The USB ports are the extra touch and the lamps can accommodate a 100 watt bulb so are very bright for reading in bed. Standard 100 watt equivalent LED bulbs were too tall to fit the space between the socket and finial, but we used 75 watt equivalents and they gave us plenty of light.
