Buyer beware: This fixture is lovely and I wish it had worked out. I initially ordered 2 for a bathroom remodel. One fixture was an open box item and I installed it with no issues - the other one worked but I could not install the glass globes because the metal thumbscrews that must be removed to install the glass were fused onto the fixture and not able to be unscrewed. I tried every method possible without damaging the fixture but was not able to unscrew the metal pieces. Wayfair was very efficient and sent a replacement. The replacement had the same problem. So they sent another…same issue. They sent o e more….still the same issue. At this point over a month has elapsed and I have a half finished bathroom lighting situation. Finally told Wayfair I was giving up and ordering direct from the manufacturer. Guess what? Same issue direct from Capital Lighting. So now I have an unreturnable (open-box) fixture installed and apparently cannot get a working companion fixture. Wayfair refunded me for the fixture I had to return repeatedly it I still need to find 2 completely different fixtures because obviously the problem is at Capital Lighting and I’m done spending months returning and reordering lights that don’t work. So I’m stuck with an $82 fixture that I can’t use and can’t return. It’s been a gigantic hassle, and while not Wayfair’s fault, I am very frustrated with the end result - having to go 2 months with an unfinished bathroom and pay for a light I now don’t even need - because of a quality control issue.
