Perfect fan. Love all of the controls that allow adjustment of the LED lighting and fan. It is also reversible for help with maintaining heat in our tiny cabin. Passed requirements for Efficiency Vermont.

Fan is the perfect size for a large bonus room. We opted for 3 blades instead of 4 for a more modern look.

I’ve had this fan for several years and aesthetically this fan is lovely, but as far as functionality it’s not great. It started off working fine, but now makes a terrible ticking noise. We have tried everything to fix it. This was installed professionally so I know the issue isn’t with the installation. We rarely use it because of the obnoxious noise. I’m basically waiting for this thing to die so I can get another fan…

Well I’ll start off by saying that the design is great, the blades are solid and the fan is quiet. However from Day 1 the wall control did not function correctly - it was hit or miss if the light or fan would come on or if we could adjust the light or fan speeds. After several frustrating days, I called the Casablanca Customer Service (CS) number. Our old fan was wired to two (2) switches - one controlled the light and the other the fan. What we learned from CS is that the installation instructions that come with the fan are not correct. In order to operate effectively, this fan MUST be wired according to the single switch instructions - the two switch instructions are NOT an option. When we re-wired it as instructed, the wall controller still was not working consistently. After a second call to CS, it was determined that the receiver was likely bad and it is housed in the motor. As a result, Hunter is sending us a replacement fan. I gave it three stars because CS was helpful and they didn’t hesitate to replace the product, but we paid to have it installed and now we’re going to have to put the new one up ourselves which I’m not thrilled about. Also, they need to redo their installation instructions because they definitely do not clearly outline which instructions to follow for fans that have receivers wall controls.
