This is a sturdy well-made light. I had it installed with the lights facing up and it looks absolutely gorgeous. However, I have some regrets because the light is much more diffused than my former downward-facing lights. Due to the height I cannot have it flipped to face downwards without some electrical work and making a new higher opening in my wall. I am considering buying clear shades to replace the frosted shades in the hopes of providing greater illumination.
