I love the look of the lamp but it is not very stable.

The Shoalhaven lamp is beautiful in sharp white and gold accent. Very clean and modern but also classic. The material feels quality and substantial. But note, with the first twist of the knob the lowest bulb illuminates. Next twist, the lowest one goes off and the upper two both go on. Next turn, all three go on, and finally all go off. I wasn't expecting that pattern of how the lights would go on. Also know that you do see the bottom of the lightbulbs showing if the lamp is at any angle or you're looking slightly up. That can feel harsh on the eyes if you're a bit sensitive. Even so, I love the look and amazing function of being able to rotate and angle the light in so many ways.
