I bought this shade to replace a old and torn one on a 40 year old lamp. It looks fantastic! even prettier when the light is on. I ordered the white one and it is pure white. So far I'm happy with my purchase.

The scroll work on the shade is beautiful when the lamp is on. I like this shade better than the one that originally came with the lamp (40 years ago -- it was my parents')!
