I purchased this light fixture in black as part of a set (porch light & carriage lights) for outdoor lighting for my new house. The X-design replicates that in the upstairs windows and the black color will go beautifully with the shutter hardware. The lights are beautiful and very well made. I bought this to coordinate with other lighting purchased from this site. I would have preferred clear glass, but it's a nice fixture and coordinates well. My existing wood post had to be modified to fit the lantern head, but it was no big deal. Nice looking for an inexpensive fixture.
