It is absolutely a beautiful, well-made lamp. It has held up well in a living room of a lease home for a couple of years. It looks particularly high-end. I also like the switch. I hard-wired this lamp so I wouldn't have to see a cord down the wall. Installation and wiring was easy enough to do myself. (The wiring was already in the wall from an older wall light.)
