LOVE IT !! Better than I ever expected..

The lamp fits well in the spot for which it was intended. It gives great light to the corner reading area. The shade is a little cheap looking.

The lamp arrived with a cracked base that was quickly replaced. It was easy to put together except for this 2 little tiny screws that I could not get into the arm. The lamp works fine without the two tiny screws that might work to keep the overhang arm more solid. The remote control is fantastic addition to this lamp - never knew I would need one but yes I have decided it is great. The shade seems a little small for the lamp so I might replace it in the future with a larger one. As others have pointed out the velcro seam on the shade seems always to swing to the front (where it can be seen). I do like that I can easily change the direction of the light and that it tall enough that I can stand under it as I work on my puzzle and then swing it from side to side to adjust it to where I need the light most.
