This was unique. It was just as whimsical as it appeared in the catalogue and actually well built. I got it for a bedside lamp when my grandson sleeps over at our house. He got a big kick out of it - reposes it nightly. Mission accomplished!

I bought this for my entry table because it made this 82 yr old actually giggle like a youngster. I love it, but it is too large for the table I had in mind so I ended up with it on the table next to my "reading chair." (Right now "HE" has "The Little Prince" on his lap and is diligently reading along with me. It would have been 5 star but it is a little top heavy and it's hard to tighten the upper joint.
