There is no way to secure the plate to the ceiling. When I originally purchased, it was related to the WAC lighting I purchased. It arrived damaged and of course Wayfair replaced with no problems (they always rock, it’s just some of the brands and algorithm used to associate products don’t always jive). I will probably spray paint the old junction box cover and use that instead of this one.

Installed to our ceiling j-boxes perfectly, electrical contractor had no issues.

Disappointed. I cancelled this transaction and you still sent it to me. This was the wrong item and cancelled within less than an hr.
