Will be looking to return lamp. It has a hole (plugged with a plastic insert) in the upper horizontal portion of the rectangle right below the sight line of the lampshade. You can see this in the image of the black lamp body, but this plug does not appear on the images of the 'nickel' version of the Wayfair website.

I love this little table lamp. It I also has a usb port which comes in very handy when your cell phone is about to die. It is also has a touch sensitive base

This lamp is just perfect on the nightstand in our guest room! I love the neat feature of being able to touch anywhere on the black base to turn it on or off! Also the USB outlet on it is a huge plus! It’s a great little lamp!!

The delivery came very quickly, and we love the lamps. They look so pretty in the spare bedroom of our summer house.
