We actually got this to temporarily cover a gaping hole in our kitchen ceiling from an upstairs bathroom tub drain leak that has since been fixed. We liked the substantial size of it for our particular application, and it is very lightweight. We are in the process of painting it now. It arrived quickly, well packed, and in excellent condition. My husband drilled the holes in it without any issues. The design is beautiflul, and we will be spray painting it a hammered metallic copper color to give it an antique nautical look, to match our current decor. I love it and can't wait to get my ugly hole covered up with a very conspicuous lovely disguise!
