We replaced a can light with a drop light but the cover that came with the drop light was too small to cover the opening in the ceiling. This fit perfectly and, even though it is made of plastic, it looks great.

Love this! Put it on the ceiling surrounded by others of different sizes and designs -- that probably sounds odd, but it's so pretty and it's helpful for a small room, as our living room is, because it is an architectural detail that carries the eye upward and enlarges the space.

I needed something to place over a rather large hole from a canned light so that I could mount a new light. It’s perfect!

When renovating an older home the existing recessed lighting fixture was replaced with a hanging one. The medallion covered the old opening and the new hanging fixture was placed by the electrician. Saved a lot of money by not needing any repair of the ceiling.
