This retractable blade ceiling fan is awesome. Not only does it look great, the ceiling fan works and transmits as much air as your fixed blade ceiling fans. I love the remote control no more walking over to a light switch. I keep it on my nightstand. It was also a simple install, per my husband who installed it.

I love this fan! First it was easy for my handy husband to install and I didnt hear any complaints from him! It is very quiet and the remote is very nice feature that you don't have to get up to change it.

I haven't gotten it installed yet but it seems like an attractive looking fan. The parts are plastic on the ring design and the blades but the main mechanism is heavy so I assume that is for weight issues. It has a modern look to it and has a reversible feature for summer (counterclockwise) and winter (clockwise). It has a remote control and fortunately comes with the light kit and bulbs. Looks more like a bedroom fan than a main living room area one but I can't tell for sure until it is installed. Update: Got it installed and it is beautiful. Changing my rating from 4 stars to 5. It's nice that the blades only come out when the fan is on, otherwise it is just a beautiful light fixture. Very pleased.

This fan is an excellent small space fan. The light is very nice and looks great when used as only a light. The way the blades extend and retract is pretty neat and the blades are completely hidden when the fan is not in use. There are multiple steps to the install process, but overall, it was very easy to hang and install. I would definitely recommend this product.
